My story

I am Camilla Fredriksen, a norwegian living in Aberlour, a little village  the scottish countryside together with my boy Charlie and my partner John

I ended up in Scotland after a weeks salmonfishing where I fell i love with the Ghillie – and here I am.

I live in cottage along the famous river Spey. My passions are gardening, nature, seasonal living and foraging.

I am obsessed with tomatoes. Whats not to love ...?

The variety of colors, taste and shapes are amazing.

After working on a danish farm back in 2010 with an abundance of different vegetables and in greenhouses with more than hundred varieties of tomatoes I was hooked. And since then I have grown tomatoes in all kinds of shapes and colors myself. 

Every year I trial lot of different varieties outside in pots and rised beds to see what varieties can handle a Scottish summer!

Summer of 2025 I was growing over 300 different varieties of tomatoes!
